Shipping policy

We have a 100% live product guarantee! Any issues with the worms during delivery, including being deceased, improper count, or being lost, we will resend you another shipment no problem. We ship out live worms Monday through Saturday using USPS Priority Mail.

Your worms will be delivered within 2 -3 days anywhere in the once shipped.

Orders placed by 2 PM will be sent out same day, otherwise they will be shipped out next business day. The worms can survive up to a week in transit in decent weather,  so do not worry if there is s slight delay in the transit. We reserve the right to withhold shipments due to weather extremes or holidays. 

If you require a rushed delivery or a special request, please e-mail Joe@shopworms.com. Upon request we can use UPS for delivery, though USPS consistently delivers better results for us. If you need to receive the worms within certain dates, please contact us before you place the order, or leave a request in the order notes section if you place the order online. We will do our best to accommodate such requests. We can be reached via phone and email 7 days a week. 

We will send out an email with tracking information if you provide an email when you place your order online. Please keep an eye out for this email.

Our Worms are packed in breathable cotton bags and fresh organic peat moss with adjusted moisture levels based on current temperatures. We shipped in corrugated cardboard shipping boxes. They are clearly marked PERISHABLE.

Please if possible notify your postal carrier that a live product is expected. If your worms arrive and have perished please contact us via e-mail and we will correct the situation. We should be notified within 48 hours of your worms arrival in order to honor the live product guarantee.

We ship to all of the 50 states. We are also able to ship to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. We are unable to ship to any country outside of the United States.
